In diesem Werkzyklus scheint es Anspielungen an Wolken zu geben, die sich durch Wind und Lichtbrechung in Form und Farbe ständig verändern: der Himmel bei der Arbeit? Nein, genauer gesehen läßt sich diese Deutung nicht wirklich halten. Zu dynamisch, eigenständigmarkant und pastos sind die ausholenden Pinselschwünge, zu übernatürlich die Farben. Es bleibt die reine Bewegungsfreude und das üppige Farbenfluten. Just for fun – and better thinking. Im Übrigen: selbst Wolken sind zwar (zuweilen farbig erscheinender) Wasserdampf aber im Grunde bereits vollkommen gegenstandsfrei – geradezu Prototyp für Abstraktion.

Heaven (or Sky?) at work

In this cycle of works there seem to be allusions to clouds, which are constantly changing in shape and color due to wind and refraction of light: the sky at work? No, if you look more closely, this interpretation is not really tenable. The sweeping brush strokes are too dynamic, distinctive and pasty, the colors too supernatural. What remains is the pure joy of movement and the lush flood of colors. Just for fun - and better thinking. Incidentally: even clouds are water vapor (which sometimes appears colored) but are basically completely non- objective - a prototype for abstraction.
